Scorekeepers were kept busy today during a high-scoring contest between Monroe Central and Jay County Patriots Varsity where Jay County Patriots Varsity lost 9-7.

Jay County Patriots Varsity got things moving in the first inning. Jay County Patriots Varsity scored one run when Wyatt Geesaman doubled.

Monroe Central pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third an error scored one run for Monroe Central, Aidin Coffey grounded out, scoring one run, and Caleb Snyder singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
