The Jay County Gymnastics team placed 2nd vs. Richmond and Muncie Central on Monday evening. Richmond won the meet with a score of 101.325 while Muncie Central came in 3rd with a 89.35.

Kenzie Ring scored a new PB on vault with a 9.0, earning her 2nd place honors. Karlie Bullard placed 4th on vault with an 8.7. Randi Ferguson’s score of 8.1 on vault was a new PB. Riley Leavell scored an 8.4 on the event.

Jay County placed all of our bar competitors. Riley Leavell earned 6th place with a score of 7.175. Bullard was 4th with a 7.95. Ring earned 2nd place with a score of 8.4.

Ring placed 5th on beam with a score of 7.85. Bullard placed 3rd with her no-fall routine, earning a score of 8.3.

The Patriots dominated the floor exercise with Ferguson placing 5th with another PB, earning a score of 8.4. Ring placed 2nd with a new PB of 9.175. Bullard earned 1st place honors on floor with a score of 9.35.

In the All-Around competition, Bullard placed 3rd with a score of 34.3. Ring’s PB score of 34.425 earned her 2nd place.

The Patriots’ next meet is our Senior Night at home vs. Huntington North on Thursday, February 7th at 6:30 pm.
