Jay County Patriots JV ran off with the lead late in the game in a 23-13 victory over Centerville on Saturday to end their season.

Jay County Patriots JV trailed 11-10 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Adrek Pogue tripled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Gavin Myers led Jay County Patriots JV to victory by driving in four runs. He went 3-for-4 at the plate. Myers drove in runs on a single in the second, a single in the fourth, and a single in the fourth.

Centerville got on the board in the first inning when Vanskyock singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Kade Shannon was the winning pitcher for Jay County Patriots JV. He lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing two hits and two runs while walking one. Drew Powers threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Robertson was on the hill for Centerville. He surrendered seven runs on four hits over one and one-third innings, striking out two.
