Blake Bogenschutz was brilliant on the hill on Tuesday, as Bogenschutz threw a no-hitter to lead Jay County Patriots JV past Bluffton 11-1.

Jay County Patriots JV secured the victory thanks to six runs in the third inning. Jay County Patriots JV batters contributing to the big inning included Tavin Wasson, Jackson Edwards, Christian Runkle, Ryne Goldsworthy, and Bennett Weitzel, all driving in runs in the inning.

Bogenschutz was the winning pitcher for Jay County Patriots JV. The pitcher went five innings, allowing one run on zero hits and striking out six.

Thompson took the loss for Bluffton. The bulldog went three innings, allowing ten runs on five hits and striking out four.

Jay County Patriots JV hit one home run on the day. Goldsworthy had a dinger in the first inning.
