Jay County Patriots JV watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 6-3 loss to Mississinewa on Saturday. Jay County scored two runs in the top of the first inning but turned around and gave up 3 runs in the bottom half of the inning, never to recover.

Sam Dunlevy was on the mound for Jay County Patriots JV. He went four and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on seven hits and striking out four. Drew Powers and Lane Chapman entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two-thirds of an inning and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Crosby Heniser led Jay County Patriots JV with two hits in two at bats. Other Patriots with 1 hit a piece were Drew Powers, Gavin Meyers, Caleb Hale, and Logan McGinnis.
