JCXC Girls Win the Randolph Southern Invitational

The Jay County boys and girls cross country teams competed at the Randolph Southern Invitational on Saturday, September 13. The girls claimed the team title for the second straight year, finishing ahead of 14 schools with six runners in the top 30. Ava May led the way in 9th (21:31), followed by Brooklynn Byrum in 11th (22:01), Abby Fifer in 12th (22:06), Jessie Homan in 19th (22:39), Alexis Sibray in 25th (23:17), and Paityn Wendel in 30th (23:33). All seven girls turned in strong performances to secure the win. The boys placed 11th overall, led by Max Klopfenstein in 32nd (18:52), followed by Caison Lloyd (19:09) and Grant Glentzer (19:36). We're looking forward to a great rest of the season, with more improvement each week. Go Patriots!
