The Jay County Girls Varsity Soccer Team faced South Adams tonight and came up on top with the score of 1-0. The Lady Patriots move to 4-1 for the season, and 3-0 in ACAC. In the first half, London Lloyd scored the first and only goal of the game @ 31:01min left, assisted by Aixa Lopez. The Lady Patriots had a total of 27 shots on goal by 9 different players, but struggled to connect at the net. Maleah Parsons recorded 10 saves as the starting goalie for the Patriots. The defensive group consisting of Ariel Beiswanger, Emma Hatzell, Tessa Frazee, & Raylah Newton were a huge component of why the Starfires were held scoreless the entirety of the game.
