Varsity vs Woodlan Jr/Sr High School (3 - 1) Win Jay County Varsity Boys Soccer took on Woodlan for the first conference game. Jay County came out and was able to score first from an assist by Rockland Beiswanger to Jacoby Penrod in the 18th minute making it 1-1. Woodlan was able to score making it 1-1. Halftime the score was 1-1. In the 2nd half Jay County kept a lot of pressure on Woodlan's defense and in the 20th minute Emmitt Reynolds with an assist to Jacoby Penrod making it 2-1. Jay wasn't done yet in the 13th minute Jaxson DeHoff has an assist to Jacoby Penrod making it 3-1. At the end of the game Jay County won 3-1. Peyton Yowell had 11 saves on the day. That moves Jay County to 3-1-1 on the year. Next up Jay County will travel to Norwell on Thursday 9-4-25.
