The 8th grade Patriots football team started off the season with a win. At the end of the game it was Jc 24 and Muncie 0. To get the season started off, Fletcher Post had an interception and returned it 30 yards for the touchdown. In the 2nd quarter, Roman Clamme had a 4 yard touchdown run. Abe Lee caught a pass from Clamme for the 2 point conversion. Later in the game Abe Lee had a touchdown reception from a 20 yard Clamme pass. Clamme ran in the 2 point conversion. Defensively, there were numerous tackles in the backfield. Braylen Slater and Michael Gabbard lead the way with many others following. The defense held Muncie with 2 first downs in the contest. The Patriots travel to Union City on Saturday morning. GoJc!
