The Jay County Lady Patriots’ JV soccer team came out triumphant over the host Heritage Patriots. The game was scoreless at half-time. After several shot attempts by various players on the Lady Patriots, Ayla Jackson finally connected with the back of the net and scored the lone goal of the game with 9:32 to go in the second half. Maria Laux did an amazing job controlling the midfield throughout the night. Great job by the defensive line consisting mainly of Araitz Lekue Magro (exchange student from Spain), Kali Newell, Milee Rickard, and Gabby Raines, with Avery Snow and Raylin Hummer sharing time as goalkeeper. -Coach Amber Houck Next game is HOME against Coldwater next Thursday, 8/28. Varsity kicks off at 5pm, and JV will follow at approximately 6:30.
