JV Girls Soccer Defeats Richmond 7-0

The Jay County Lady Patriots’ JV soccer team had an impressive start with their season opener against Richmond. Ayla Jackson scored her first goal with 12 minutes left in the first half. Saki Onishi connected with the back of the net with 4 minutes to go. Jackson scored again a minute later to end the half with the Patriots leading 3-0. Kady Allred scored within 30 seconds of the start of the second half! Charlee Peters followed with a beautiful goal at 22 minutes left. Jackson finished out her soccer debut with a hat trick (three goals in one game)! Gracie Rowles rounded out the scoring for the Patriots with a quick goal at 7 minutes left in the game. The Patriots defeated the Richmond Red Devils with a final score of 7-0. Great job to all the girls on the team! Next game is away @ Heritage this Thursday 8/21. Varsity kicks off at 6, and JV will follow.
