Logan Wendel’s Clutch Hitting Propels Jay County Baseball Patriots 8th Grade To Victory Over Eastbrook Middle School Baseball 2025 By GameChanger Media Logan Wendel drove in four runs on one hit to lead Jay County Baseball Patriots 8th Grade past Eastbrook Middle School Baseball 2025 10-3 on Thursday. Wendel hit a home run to left field in the fourth inning, scoring three runs, and hit a sacrifice fly in the second inning, scoring one. Jay County Baseball Patriots 8th Grade scored six runs in the fourth inning on the way to victory. Jon Davis III doubled, scoring one run, Cooper Wright drew a walk, scoring one run, Jensen Edwards singled, scoring one run, and Wendel homered to left field, scoring three runs. Jay County Baseball Patriots 8th Grade got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Davis III walked, and Rayden Sollars scored after tagging up, each scoring one run. Jay County Baseball Patriots 8th Grade added one run in the second. Wendel hit a sacrifice fly, making the score 3-0. A single by Wright extended the Jay County Baseball Patriots 8th Grade lead to 4-2 in the bottom of the third inning. Brady Millspaugh led things off on the hill for Jay County Baseball Patriots 8th Grade. The hurler allowed three hits and two runs (zero earned) over three innings, striking out five and walking one. Jackson Holtzlieter led things off on the bump for Eastbrook Middle School Baseball 2025. The hurler gave up nine hits and 10 runs (five earned) over three and one-third innings, striking out none and walking eight. Sam Wiggins appeared in relief for Jay County Baseball Patriots 8th Grade. Jay County Baseball Patriots 8th Grade accumulated 10 hits in the game. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting nine walks for the game. Millspaugh stole three bases. Jay County Baseball Patriots 7th Grade got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Roman Clamme grounded out, Eli Homan walked, and Jenson Edwards singled to center field, each scoring one run. Jay County Baseball Patriots 7th Grade added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Mal'Aki Hart grounded out, and Karson Schilling singled to center field, each scoring one run. Jay County Baseball Patriots 7th Grade added one run in the third. Clamme grounded out, making the score 6-1. Finn Hemmelgarn started the game for Jay County Baseball Patriots 7th Grade. The pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out two and walking none. Robbie Knox led things off on the mound for Eastbrook Middle School Baseball 2025. The hurler gave up two hits and four runs (one earned) over one and one-third innings, striking out three and walking two.
