Jc Girls T&F take 3rd in the IHSAA Sectional #12

The girls competed hard and came away with 106 points in third place in the IHSAA Sectional #12 at Delta. Many girls will be moving on to the Regional at Carroll (FW) next week. The top three from each event and the next four best performances will compete. In the 3200 meter relay, the team of Paityn Wendel, Ava May, Brooklynn Byrum, and Jesse Homan placed 4th with a season best time of 10:31.32. In the 100 meter hurdles, Morgan DeHoff placed 5th in 18.16. In the 100 meter dash, Peyton Carpenter placed 7th with 13.78. In the 1600 meter run, Ava May placed 7th with 6:02.84. In the 400 meter relay, the team of Morgan DeHoff, Jenna Dues, Ariel Beiswanger, and London Lloyd placed 2nd and will be moving on to the Regionals with a time of 52.6. In the 400 meter dash, Arial Beiswanger is the Sectional Champion and will be moving on to Regionals in 1:03.41 and Peyton Carpenter placed 3rd and will be moving on to Regionals in 1:04.21. In the 300 meter hurdles, Mya Kunkler placed 7th in 52.96 and Morgan DeHoff placed 8th in 54.19. In the 800 meter run, Brooklynn Byrum placed 2nd and will be moving on to Regionals in 2:28.67. In the 200 meter dash, Ariel Beiswanger placed 2nd and will be moving on to Regionals in 27.36. In the 3200 meter run, Ava May placed 4th in 12:56.89 and Jesse Homan placed 5th in 12:57.65. In the 1600 meter relay, the team of Peyton Carpenter, Brooklynn Byrum, London Lloyd, and Ariel Beiswanger placed 2nd and will be moving on to Regionals in 4:19.35. In the High Jump, Jenna Dues placed 3rd and will be moving on to Regionals with a jump of 4'10" and Mya Kunkler finished 6th with a jump of 4'8". In the Pole Vault, Maria Hemmelgarn placed 4th with a vault of 8' and Mya Kunkler placed 6th with a vault of 7'6". In the Long Jump, Peyton Carpenter placed 7th with a jump of 15'9" and Morgan DeHoff placed 8th with a jump of 14'7.5". In the Shot Put, Jordyn Hutzler placed 2nd and will be moving on to Regionals with a throw of 33'9.5". In the Discus, Jordyn Hutzler placed 5th with a throw of 95'. It has been an amazing season and now we enter our playoffs. Jenna Dues, Morgan DeHoff, Jordyn Hutzler, Ariel Beiswanger, Peyton Carpenter, London Lloyd, Brooklyn Byrum and possibly others have passed the first round.
