Hagerstown Varsity Tigers got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Ethan Campbell grounded into a fielder's choice, and Anthony Kelley singled down the left field line, each scoring one run. Jay County Varsity Patriots flipped the game on its head in the top of the fifth, scoring six runs on four hits to take the lead, 6-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Carter Fugiett that drove in three. Zedrian Vazquez stepped on the hill first for Jay County Varsity Patriots. The right-handed pitcher gave up four hits and two runs over six innings, striking out seven and walking none. Jayke Troutwine stepped on the mound first for Hagerstown Varsity Tigers. Hagerstown Varsity Tigers added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Jay County Varsity Patriots committed an error, Logston grounded out, and Graham Vinson grounded into a fielder's choice, each scoring one run. Aiden Phillips pitched three innings in relief for Jay County Varsity Patriots. The reliever allowed one hit and one run (zero earned) while, striking out four and walking one.
