It was a great night to be a Jay County Patriot. The boys and girls had many 1st place finishes. But most importantly, came out in the top of most of the events in the night and had multiple PRs (personal records) on the night. The boys placed 3rd (97.5)behind Bluffton (163) and Heritage (125). The girls won it all with a score of 149.5 points followed by Bluffton with 130.5. One new meet records was set on the night. For the Boys: 3200 meter relay- the team of Joseph Boggs, Max Klopfenstein, Caleb Garringer, and Dash Thacker finished 2nd in 8:38.04. (PR) 110 hurdles- Adam Alig finished 1st in 15.27. (PR) 100 meter dash- Caden Gambill finished 8th in 11.71. 1600 meter run- Dash Thacker finished 2nd in 4:35.46 (PR), and Caleb Garringer finished 4th in 4:43.49. 400 meter relay- The team of Adam Alig, Caden Gambill, Peyton Yowell, and Garrett Hidy finished 2nd in 44.79. 400 meter dash- Sytree Jordan finished 4h in 55.18. 300 meter hurdles- Adam Alig finished 1st in 41.63 (PR). 800 meter run- Joseph Boggs finished 2nd in 2:04.64. (PR) 200 meter dash- Caden Gambill finished 7th in 24.48. 3200 meter run- Dash Thacker finished 1st in 9:59.62 (PR), and Caleb Garringer finished 4th in 10:10.90 (PR). 1600 meter relay- The team of Sytree Jordan, Blake Collins, Jaxson DeHoff, and Joseph Boggs finished 6th in 3:58.3. High Jump- Adam Alig tied for 3rd with a jump of 5'10". Pole Vault- Peyton Yowell finished 5th with a vault of 10' (PR). Shot Put- Brasen Glassford finished 6th with a throw of 40'11". Discus- Austyn LeMaster finished 7th with a throw of 120'. For the Girls: 3200 meter relay- The team of Paityn Wendel, Jessie Homan, Ava May, and Brooklynn Byrum finished 2nd in 10:44.36 (PR) 100 meter hurdles- Morgan DeHoff finished 6th in a seasons best 17.3. 100 meter dash- Jenna Dues finished 3rd in 13.14, and Peyton Carpenter finished 4th in 13.22(PR). 1600 meter run- Brooklynn Byrum finished 4th in 5:36.96 (PR) and Ava May finished 7th in 5:58.02 (PR). 400 meter relay- The team of Morgan DeHoff, Jenna Dues, Ariel Beiswanger, and London Lloyd finished 1st in 51.75. 400 meter dash- Ariel Beiswanger finished 2nd in 1:03.4 (PR) and Peyton Carpenter finished 3rd in 1:03. 51 (PR). 300 hurdles- Mya Kunkler finished 5th in 53.15 and Morgan DeHoff finished 6th in 54.19. 800 meter run- Brooklynn Byrum finished 2nd in 2:29.4 (PR) and Paityn Wendel finished 8th in 2:43.45. 200 meter dash- Ariel Beiswanger finished 2nd in 27.75 and London Lloyd finished 3rd in 27.92. 3200 meter run- Ava May finished 3rd in 12:50.58 (PR) and Jessie Homan finished 4th in 10:53.46 (PR). 1600 meter relay- The team of Ariel Beiswanger, Brooklynn Byrum, Peyton Carpenter, and London Lloyd finished 2nd in 4:20.24 (PR). High Jump- Mya Kunkler finished 1st with a jump of 4'10" and Jenna Dues finished 2nd with a jump of 4'10". Pole Vault- Maria Hemmelgarn finished 1st and set a new meet records with a vault of 9' and Mya Kunkler finished 4th with a vault of 8'. Long Jump- Morgan DeHoff finished 3rd with a jump of 14'8.75" and Peyton Carpenter finished tied for 8th with a jump of 14'. Shot Put- Jordyn Hutzler finished 6th with a throw of 31.3. Discus- Jordyn Hutzler finished 4th with a throw of 100'4.5". What a great night! Go Jc!!
