Varsity vs Wapahani High School Varsity vs Wapahani High School (19 - 2) Win Jozey Shimp With 4 Hits As Jay County Patriots Beat Wapahani By GameChanger Media Jozey Shimp collected four hits in five at bats, as Jay County Patriots defeated Wapahani 19-2 on Monday. Shimp doubled in the third inning, singled in the fifth inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the fourth inning. Jay County Patriots jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Jaelynn Lykins singled, scoring one run, an error scored three runs, Ava Bice singled, scoring one run, Brenna Ruble singled, scoring two runs, and Morgan Missicano tripled, scoring two runs. Jay County Patriots added two runs in the second after Carley Trinidad doubled down the left field line on an 0-2 count.
