Jc Girls Track & Field takes First place and Boys take Third place at the Wapahani Raiders Relays. It was a sunny morning at Wapahani High School. The Patriots competed very well in the Raiders Relays and had many top finishers. The girls came out on top with 101 points, second was Winchester with 88. Three meet records fell to the Patriots as the meet went on. In the 3200 meter relay, the team of Alexis Sibray, Ava May, Lyla Kunkler, and Paityn Wendel finished 3rd with a time of 11:16.3. In the 100 hurdles, Maria Hemmelgarn finished 3rd in 18.85, Mya Kunkler finished 6th in 19.56. In the 400 meter relay, the team of Peyton Carpenter, Jenna Dues, Ariel Beiswanger, and London Lloyd finished 1st with a new meet record in 51.96. In the 4000 meter DMR, the team of Alexis Sibray, Mya Kunkler, Lyla Kunkler, and Ava May finished 3rd in 14:57.68. In the 100 meter dash, Peyton Carpenter finished 2nd in 13.91, and Ariel Beiswanger finished 3rd in 13.99. In the 1600 meter run, Paityn Wendel finished 7th in 6:29.77. In the 800 meter SMR, the team of London Lloyd, Maria Hemmelgarn, Jenna Dues, and Olivia Cox finished 5th in 2:09.88. In the 1600 meter relay, the team of Peyton Carpenter, Alexis Sibray, Ariel Beiswanger, and Mya Kunkler finished 1st with a new meet records of 4:33.16. In the High Jump, Mya Kunkler finished 3rd with a jump of 4'8", and Lexi Litmer finished 5th with a jump of 4'6". In the Long Jump, Peyton Carpenter finished 1st with a new meet record of 15'4.5". In the Shot Put, Jordyn Hutzler finished 1st with a throw of 30'6", and Jaley Stephens finished 7th with a throw of 27'5". In the Discus, Jordyn Hutzler finished 2nd with a throw of 88'. The boys finished 3rd with 70, the winning team of Mississinawa with 110. In the 3200 meter relay, the team of Joseph Boggs, Dash Thacker, Caleb Garringer, and Jaxson DeHoff finished 3rd with a time of 8:51.6. In the 110 hurdles, Adam Alig finished 1st in 16.29. In the 400 meter relay, the team of Gabe Pinkerton, Caden Gambill, Adam Alig, and Garrett Hidy finished 2nd with a time of 45.95. In the 4000 meter DMR, the team of Joseph Boggs, Blake Collins, Max Klopfenstein, and Alex Rivers finished 2nd with a time of 12:22.67. In the 100 meter dash, Caden Gambill finished 8th in 12.13. In the 1600 meter run, Dash Thacker finished 4th in 4:44.44, Caleb Garringer finished 5th in 4:50.99. In the 800 meter SMR, the team of John Cook, Garrett Hidy, Caden Gambill, and Jaxson DeHoff finished 4th in 1:46.69.
