Jay County Girls Basketball defeated New Castle 64 to 54 in overtime. The Patriots were led in scoring by Hallie Schwieterman with 30 points and 7 rebounds. Lizzy Brunswick had 16 points to be the second player in double digits. Amelia Heath had 6 rebounds and Gabi Petro had 5 boards. Schwieterman also contributed 5 assists and 5 steals. The Patriots are now 6 and 5 and play on Saturday at South Adams at 7:00.
