JC Swim/Dive splits with Bluffton

The Jay County boy swimmers/divers suffered an opening meet loss to Bluffton by the a score of 130-51, while the girls kicked off their 2024-25 dual meet campaign with a win, 115-64. Freshman Kaitlyn Fisher started her high school career with a win in both the 200 Free and 100 Fly. Cooper Glentzer won the 200 Free. Lauren Fisher out touched the field to win the 50 Free. Maddie Snow finished on top of the field in the Diving event. Ariel Beiswanger outpaced everyone in the 400 Freestyle. In the 200 Freestyle Relay, the team of Brooklyn Byrum, Sophia Hoevel, Ariel Beiswanger and Lauren Fisher came out on top. Avery Wentz won a close race in the 100 Back. And the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Byrum, Aubrey Millspaugh, L. Fisher and Hoevel brought home the final win of the evening for the Patriots.The Patriots will face Anderson on Thursday at home, with the Celina Sprint Meet on Saturday.
