The Jay County Junior High Cross Country teams competed against Centerville and Winchester on Thursday. The boys finished first with 26 points, followed by Centerville 34, and Winchester 80. Sam Wiggins led the team finishing first with a time of 9:45. Other top finishers were Caison Lloyd (2nd - 10:34), Carter Lloyd (4th - 11:01), Ango Kato (6th - 11:15), and Logan Fifer (7th - 11:21). Driver placed first for the girls, with Centerville second and Jay third. Top five finishers for the lady Patriots were Gracie Rowles (3rd - 12:32), Abbie Rowles (4th - 12:34), Allie Rowles (13th - 14:24), Kenzlea Bentz (14th - 14:28), and Alexis Tipton (15th - 15:09)
