JC Girls Soccer Team capped off their 2024 regular season play by defeating Muncie Central 9-0. They move to 11-5 for the season. In the 1st half, Morgan DeHoff scored the 1st goal (33:12min). London Lloyd scored the 2nd goal (28:41min), assisted by Krishna Flores. Aixa Lopez scored the 3rd goal (27:40min). Morgan DeHoff scored the 4th goal (24:07min). Jenna Dues scored the 5th goal (22:59min) to end the 1st half with JC up 5-0. In the 2nd half, Morgan DeHoff scored the 6th goal of the game (37:50min, HAT-TRICK!) from a head ball into the net, assisted by Aixa Lopez's from a corner kick. Aixa Lopez scored the 7th goal (36:50min). Ariel Beiswanger switched her role on the team from defender to forward, and scored the 8th goal (21:46min), her 1st career goal. Krishna Flores scored the 9th and final goal for JC (12:13min), assisted by Morgan DeHoff. Krishna Flores's goal mercy ruled the game against Muncie Central, to result in a 9-0 final score. Maleah Parsons as starting goalie for JC had 7 saves for the game. From going 2-4 last year in ACAC to 6-0 this year & 6-8-1 overall record to a 11-5 overall record leading into sectional week, the JC Girls Soccer Team are looking to take on sectionals next week with confidence & passion. They play against the winner of Delta vs. New Castle, who plays on Tuesday, October 8th @ 6pm @ Mississinewa. If JC wins on Thursday, they will play in the Sectional Championship @ Mississinewa @ 1pm on Saturday, October 12th.
