JC Girls Soccer team faced Yorktown tonight and came out victorious by the score of 2-1. JC moves to 8-5 for the season. In the first half, the solo goal of the half was scored from a free kick about 20 yards from the box by Aixa Lopez (@21:14min left). In the second half, Tessa Frazee launched a free kick from half field & after a couple touches from both teams, Morgan DeHoff gained possession and notched the 2nd goal for JC to put them up 2-0 (28:43min left). Yorktown scored their 1st goal of the game with 6:31min left. Maleah Parsons had an outstanding game for JC as goalie, recording 18 saves. Next, JC plays on Saturday, September 28th @ Heritage @ 3pm, Varsity only. A win against Heritage on Saturday will make for an undefeated season in ACAC play!
