Varsity vs South Adams Jr/Sr High School Win Varsity volleyball beat South Adams in 3 last night 25-20; 25-23; 25-20. Lani Muhlenkamp had a big night behind the service line with 14 points and 1 ace. Elizabeth Barnett notched 8 points. The Patriots front line was huge in the win as they totaled 13 blocks together. Mya Kunkler led the group with 4. Brenna Schmeising had 3 and Maria Hemmelgarn had 2. Schmeising also had the team high of 9 kills. Elizabeth Barnett and Maria Hemmelgarn both had 7. Mya Kunkler and Hallie Schwieterman both added 6 a piece. Brenna Bailey led the team defensively with 15 digs. Paisley Fugiett had 11 and Kayla Jetmore added 10. Fugiett also ended the night with 25 assists. The Patriots are 8-7 on the season and 2-1 in the conference. Junior Varsity vs South Adams Jr/Sr High School Loss Lydia Johnson had a team high of 5 service points and Emalyn Homan added 4. Amelia Heath led offensively with 5 kills. Chloe Byrum had 4 and Johnson and Homan had 3 a piece. Chloe Muhlenkamp had a team high of 12 digs. Carley Trinidad added 7 and Ella Rigby and Gabi Petro had 4 a piece. Rigby also finished with 19 assists. JV are now 7-4. The Patriots are back in action Tuesday night against Southern Wells.
