Varsity vs Yorktown High School (3 - 2) Win Jay County took on Yorktown tonight. Yorktown got the jump on an early through ball and was able to beat the defenders and score making it 1-0 Yorktown. In the 32nd minute of the 1st half Levi Muhlenkamp found Emmitt Reynolds who was able to score making it 1-1. Then not even two minutes later in the 30th minute of the 1st half Dylan Marentes was able to find Blake Collins who as able to get it past the goalkeeper making it 2-1 Jay County. The 1st half would come to a close with the score 2-1 in favor of Jay County. In the 2nd half some confusion on a pass back to Jay County's goalkeeper where the ball got away and found the back of the net on a roll in making it 2-2. Then Jay County was making a push and in the 27th minute in the 2nd half Emmitt Reynolds was able to find Levi Muhlenkamp where he was able to score making it 3-2 Jay County. The game would come to an end with the final score Jay County 3-2. Payton Yowell also recorded 8 saves on the night. Jay County is now 6-1 on season. Next up Jay County will be on road to face Richmond Tuesday the 17th @ Richmond.
