8th Grade vs Adams Central High School (14 - 6) Win The 8th grade Patriots traveled to Adams Central to take on the Jets. Starting the scoring off for Jay was a defensive score. Kenton Cochran sacked the AC quarterback causing a fumble. Logan Wendel scooped up the ball and ran it back 40 yards for the touchdown. In the 2nd, Walter Campofiore caught a 50 yard touchdown pass from Brady Millspaugh. Campofiore kicked the 2 point conversion. The 2nd half was scoreless. Defensively for the Patriots, Wendel caused and recovered another fumble. Rayden Sollars had an interception. Connor Stultz, Spencer Smitley, Logan Wendel, and Kenton Cochran had sacks or tackles in the backfield. The Patriots will travel to Southern Wells to face the Raiders next Tuesday. Go Jc!
