Varsity vs Norwell High School (4 - 2) Win Jay County Varsity Boys Soccer took on Norwell High School Thursday night. Jay County came out flat again and allowed Norwell to score on a fast break in the first five minutes of the game. Jay County would come back when Blake Collins got an open drive down the right side and was able to score in the 35th minute tying the game 1-1. In the 27th minute Alan Ortiz was able to find Levi Muhlenkamp off a throw-in to head the ball in making it 2-1 Jay County. In the 24th minute Dylan Marentes found Levi Muhlenkamp again where he was able to knock it past Norwell's goalkeeper making it 3-1. With 17 minutes left in the first half Aryan Montes was able to connect with Levi Muhlenkamp and he was able to score again making it 4-1. At halftime the score was 4-1 Jay County. In the 2nd half Norwell would come out and score right away making it 4-2. Jay County would hold them there and the final score was 4-2 Jay County. Peyton Yowell recorded 13 saves in the game. Next up for Jay County will be senior night on Monday against conference rival Heritage at Jay County. With this win the Varsity Boys Soccer team improves their record to 5-0.
