The Jay County 8th Grade Patriots faced a tough Bluffton Tiger team and came up short 18 - 32. In the first half the kickoff return team kept up close. Logan Wendel ran the ball back 80 yards for a touchdown, then Jon Davis ran one back from 70 yards away. The half time score was 12-16. In the second half Walter Campofiore had a 45 yard rushing touchdown. Defensively, Campofiore also had an interception. Wendel, Andrew Crump, and George Plessinger had tackles for loss. The boys will travel to Adams Central to face the Jets next Tuesday. Go Jc!
