Jay Co Varsity Soccer took on New Castle tonight. Jay Co controlled the game with the first goal coming in the 33 minute of the 1st half with a cross pass from Blake Collins to Levi Muhlenkamp to put Jay Co.up 1-0. It didn't take long for Jay Co. to score again in the 30th minute in the 1st half from a pass from Blake Collins to Levi Muhlenkamp. In the 2nd half Dylan Marentes had a corner kick that came in on the front post and Raif Beiswanger was able to head the ball in on the 21 minute of the 2nd half to give Jay Co a 3-0 lead. Jay Co. won the game 3-0. Payton Yowell also recorded 2 saves and Rockland Beiswanger recorded 1 save as well. Next up for the Patriots will be this Thursday against Delta High School @ Jay County, start time will be JV @ 6 and Varsity to follow.
