The Jay County Girls Soccer Team faced Eastbrook last night, and fell short to Eastbrook in an overall hard fought battle. In 80 minutes of game play- the score was 0-0. Overtime came (2 7-minute halves), and the score was still 0-0. A PK challenge was up next. London Lloyd, Charlee Peters, Brilyn Wilmore, Ariel Beiswanger, and Tessa Frazee were apart of the 1st group up, resulting in JC making 4 out of 5 PK's- tying with Eastbrook. Brenna Ruble was in the goal for JC. Macy DeHoff, Avery Snow, Gabby Gibson, Ayla Jackson, and Maria Laux were apart of the 2nd group up next, resulting in Eastbrook winning 3-2 in this sudden death PK challenge. Despite the lost through the PK challenge, JC kept their heads up high and showed their ability to be amazing teammates with one another!!! The JC Girls Soccer Team are blessed to have the support from the soccer community and for everyone that has supported this team throughout this season. The seniors on the team: Ariel Beiswanger, Tessa Frazee, and Kady Allred have all made an impact on their teammates and their coaches couldn't be more proud of how they played last night and the type of people they have grew into these past 4 years. The season ends for JC with a record of 10-6.
