The Jay County Girls Soccer Team faced South Adams this morning. A couple weeks ago, the Lady Patriots fell to SA by a score of 2-1. This time, JC came up on top with a dominant 5-0 score. In the 1st half, London Lloyd scored the 1st goal of the game (30 seconds in!!!!) assisted by Macy DeHoff. The half ended with JC with the lead 1-0. JC shots on goal: 9 total. In the 2nd half, Ayla Jackson scored @ 30:41min by crashing the goal, assisted by Macy DeHoff, who sent an amazing cross ball from the right side. London Lloyd scored the 3rd and 4th goal @ 26:15 & 17:44min (HAT-TRICK!!!). London Lloyd has been on fire! Ayla Jackson scored the 5th and final goal of the game @ 16:09min. Ayla Jackson is another JC player that has been amazing at crashing the goal and positioning herself well to get more shots off. JC shots on goal: 10 total. JAY COUNTY DEFENSE!!!!! This game marks the 5th shut-out game for them! The back line defense: Maria Laux, Ariel Beiswanger, and Gracie Rowles continue to get better and have become amazing at their role! Defensive Midfielders: Tessa Frazee and Kady Allred both stepped big time by playing their position in a more defensive way, but also do a great job at communicating with the midfielders and helping them out when needed. Brenna Ruble, starting Goal Keeper, recorded total saves for the game! The JC Girls Soccer Team moved to a 5-4 overall record, and a 3-1 record in the ACAC. Next, the Lady Patriots play on Thursday, September 17th, against conference opponent, Southern Wells @ 5pm @ Home- Varsity only.
