Jay County Boys and Girls Cross Country teams participated in the Randolph Southern Invitational this morning. Ava May was the top finisher for the girls, placing 4th out of 87 in a time of 21:23. Brooklyn Byrum and Abby Fifer finished 10th (22:06) and 11th (22:13). Alyvia Muhlenkamp finished in 61st with a time of 28:36. The girls didn't not have enough participants to record a team score. Caleb Garringer was the top finisher for the boys with a 4th place finish in a time of 17:22. Other scorers for the boys were Grant Glentzer, 14th (18:14), Alex Rivers, 28th (19:31) Bryden Carter, 58th (21:20), and John Cook 73rd (22:51). Ethan Powers 88th (23:55) and Isaac Hawbaker 99th (25:45), also participated. The boys finished 5th out of 14 teams.
