Varsity vs Anderson High School (4 - 1) Win Jay County took on Anderson Saturday. Jay County was looking to turn things around and get back into the win column again. They came out firing on all cylinders. In the 15th minute of the game, Brody Collins found Emmitt Reynolds for a goal making it 1-0. Then, Brody Collins was fouled inside Anderson's goal box setting up a penalty kick. Brody Collins was successful at making the score 2-0. Then Jaxson DeHoff took a shot and was able to score making it 3-0. At halftime the score was Jay County 3-0. In the 2nd half Jay Co came out moving the ball. Brody Collins was fouled again inside Anderson's goal box and was awarded another penalty kick. Brody was successful in making his PK making it 4-0. Late in the 2nd half, Jay Co committed a foul setting Anderson up with a penalty kick and they were successful making it 4-1. The game came to an end with a final score of 4-1. Jay County moves to 5-2-2 on the season. Next up Jay County Varsity play Yorktown this Thursday at home.
