Jay County Boys Varsity Soccer took on Norwell tonight at home. The 1st half was pretty much back and forth against both teams. Then in the 22nd minute the game was delayed due to lightning. After a 30-minute delay, the game resumed. At the end of the first half, it was 0-0. In the 2nd half Norwell was able to score making it 1-0. In the 17th minute, Emmitt Reynolds took a corner kick and found Raif Beiswanger on a perfectly played head ball into the goal making it 1-1. The game would come to an end with the final score of 1-1. Jay County moves to 4-2-2 on the season and will host Anderson this Saturday starting at noon with varsity to follow.
