Jay County took on Heritage tonight in a conference game. The game was played with intensity and was very physical. Both teams played a good first half with it going back and forth. At halftime the score was 0-0. In the second half, Heritage was able to score early making it 1-0. Then, with 24 minutes left in the game, Heritage was able to score again making it 2-0. Jay County didn't give up and kept making attempts to score, but they came up short. Then, with ten minutes to go, Brody Collins was fouled in the box and was given a chance at a penalty kick. Brody was able to score from his penalty kick making it 2-1. However, Jay County wasn't able to fight back, and at the end of regulation Heritage came out on top 2-1. Jay County moves to 4-2-1 on the season. The Patriots will be back in action at home this Thursday against Norwell.
