The Jay County Girls Varsity and JV Soccer Teams both faced Coldwater last night, and were defeated by the score of 0-5 (Varsity) and 0-1 (JV). In the Varsity game, the Lady Patriots only trailed by 1 goal at halftime, a goal that was scored on them within the 1st 5 minutes of the game. Coldwater came out dominant in the 2nd half, while the Lady Patriots couldn't connect on both the defensive and offensive end. Brenna Ruble recorded 26 saves as goalie in the Varsity game. The Lady Patriots Varsity Team moved to 1-2 for the season, while the JV Team moved to 0-2.
