Jc Junior High Football traveled to Blackford to face the Bruins. The 8th grade lost 30-6 and the 7th grade won 6-24. In the 8th grade game, Sawyer Smitley scored on a 2 yard run, Maddix Bright had a punt block, and Parker Wasson had a fumble recovery. In the 7th grade game, Sawyer Hemmelgarn had a 15 yard touchdown reception from Tuck Hemmelgarn. Tuck ran in the two point conversion. Leighton VanSkyock had a 40 yard touchdown from a Tuck Hemmelgarn pass. Tuck ran in the two point conversion. Kason Litmer had a 12 yard touchdown run. Mason Collins caught a Hemmelgarn pass for the two point conversion. The Patriots will host Bluffton next week on Tuesday for their first home game of the season. Go Jc!!
