Jay County Jr./Sr. High boys and girls cross participated in the Taylor Open Invitational on Saturday, August 22nd. Top finisher for the boys team was Caleb Garringer in 7th place with a time of 17:41. Grant Glentzer placed 24th (18:25), Alex Rivers 58th (19:47), Caison Grant 69th (20:17) and Corbin Bishop rounded out the scoring , finishing in 141st, with a time of 24:21. Ethan Peters finished in 156th (25:39) and Isaac Hawbaker finished in 168th (27:22). The boys finished 8th out of 18 teams. Top finisher for the girls was Ava May in 21st with a time of 22:34. Abby Fifer finished in 26th (22:57), Brooklyn Byrum, 31st (23:16), Alyvia Muhlenkamp 107th (28:30), and Chloe Torres rounded out the scoring foe the girls finishing 136th in 32:59. The girls placed 10th out of 12 teams.
