Varsity vs Ft. Wayne South Side High (2 - 5) Loss Fort Wayne South Side was able to score early in the 1st half making it 1-0. Then FWSS was able to score again making it 2-0. Jay County would finally answer with 17 minutes left in the first half when Jacoby Penrod found Brody Collins making it 2-1. At the end of the first half the score was 2-1. In the 2nd half FWSS was able to score 3 more times making it 5-1. In the 20 minute a ball was deflected off the goalkeeper and hitting FWSS defender in the hand inside the box sitting up a penalty kick. Jacoby Penrod was able to score making it 5-2. The final score would be 5-2. Zavier Hudson would have 13 saves on the night. Jay County now moves to 1-1-1 on the season. Jay County will host New Castle next Tuesday at home.
