The Jc 8th grade football team played their first game of the season at New Castle. The boys came away with a 42-0 victory. In the first quarter, Brice VanSkyock had a 43 yard touchdown run. Sawyer Smitley ran the ball in for the 2 point conversion. Still in the first VanSkyock had a 46 yard touchdown run. Ethan Paxson had an interception. In the 2nd quarter VanSkyock had a 41 yard run. Ryker Price had an interception. Maddix Bright had a fumble recovery. VanSkyock also had a 17 yard touchdown on a pass from Smitley. Smitley ran the ball in for the 2 point conversion. In the 3rd quarter, VanSkyock had another 46 yard touchdown run. Parker Wasson ran in the 2 point conversion. In the 4th quarter Ryker Price had a 10 yard touchdown run. The defense held New Castle to 2 first downs in the contest. Great job boys! The Patriots will participate in the Union City Jamboree Saturday morning. Go Jc!!
