The Jay County golf team closed out its regular season on a high note, capturing a victory in a three-way match against Wes Del and Daleville at the Muncie Elks Country Club. The Patriots posted a team total of 197 to claim the top spot. Leading the charge for Jay County was freshman Karson Hines, who earned match medalist honors after carding an impressive 45. The Patriots showed solid depth at the top of the card to secure the win. Dawson Goldsworthy turned in a strong performance with a 47, while Bryan Fields closely followed with a 49. Dom Bright, Beckett Brandenburg, and Sylas Wenk rounded out the lineup for the victorious Patriots. With the regular season now in the rearview mirror, Jay County turns its focus to the postseason. The Patriots will compete in the upcoming Farmland Sectional, hosted at the Hickory Hills Golf Club. Tournament play is scheduled for Monday, June 8th. The Patriots are set to tee off from Hole 1 starting at 9:00 AM.
