Leighton Brown tripled down the right field line, which helped Jay County Varsity Patriots tie the game at one in the top of the third. A double by Anderson gave Winchester the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the third. Jay County Varsity Patriots took the lead in the top of the fifth inning after Brown hit a sacrifice fly, and Andrew Schemenaur doubled to right field, each scoring one run. Jay County Varsity Patriots added four more runs in the top of the seventh inning on four hits. Gavin Byrum singled, scoring two runs, and Braden Wells homered to center field, scoring two runs. Andrew Schemenaur and Gavin Byrum each pitched for Jay County Varsity Patriots in the game. Schemenaur got Landen Porfidio to hit into a fielder's choice to get the last out. Jay County Varsity Patriots scored six runs in the third inning on the way to victory. Joseph Geesaman singled, scoring one run, Schemenaur singled, scoring one run, Byrum singled, scoring two runs, and Kade Sommers doubled, scoring two runs. A single by Sommers put Jay County Varsity Patriots on the board in the top of the second. Byrum earned the win for Jay County Varsity Patriots.
