Jay County Junior Varsity Patriots got on the board in the first inning after Jace Vance singled, scoring one run. Penn Shifferly hit a sacrifice fly, which helped Adams Central Junior Varsity Jets tie the game at one in the top of the second. A double by Rayden Sollars gave Jay County Junior Varsity Patriots the lead, 3-1, in the bottom of the third. Zavier Hudson earned the win for Jay County Junior Varsity Patriots. The righty surrendered one hit and one run (zero earned) over four innings, striking out eight and walking five. Jordan Scheiner stepped on the hill first for Adams Central Junior Varsity Jets.
