Schemenaur hit a home run to center field in the third inning, doubled in the second inning, and singled in the fourth inning. A fly out by Kade Sommers put Jay County Varsity Patriots on the board in the top of the second. Jay County Varsity Patriots scored five runs on four hits in the top of the third inning. Joseph Geesaman singled, scoring one run, Leighton Brown singled, scoring one run, and Schemenaur homered to center field, scoring three runs. Geesaman stepped on the bump first for Jay County Varsity Patriots. The hurler gave up two hits and one run over five innings, striking out five and walking two. Jami Roach led things off on the mound for Adams Central Varsity Jets. The starting pitcher gave up seven hits and six runs over two innings, striking out two and walking one.
