It was a wet and blustery day at Minster High School on Saturday morning. The elements made the meet difficult, but not as difficult as the competition that was present. Many meet records fell at the meet. The Patriots ran well in many events. The top placers were as follows. In the womens 3200 meter relay, the team of Ava May, Lyla Kunkler, Jessie Homan, and Brooklynn Byrum finished 4th. In the mens 400 meter relay, the team of Walter Campofiore, Emmitt Reynolds, Peyton Yowell, and Garrett Hidy finished 8th. In the womens 800 meter run, Brooklynn Byrum finished 3rd and Saki Onishi finished 5th. In the womens 3200 meter run, Ava May finished 5th. In the mens 3200 meter run, Caleb Garringer finished 7th. In the womens Long Jump, Peyton Carpenter finished 8th. In the mens Long Jump, Walter Campofiore finished 4th. In the mens Shot Put, Brasen Glassford finished 5th, and Spencer Smitley finished 8th. The Patriots will host Bluffton and Celina on Tuesday for the last home meet of the season. Go Jc!
