By GameChanger Media Jay County Junior Varsity Patriots won big over Eastbrook 13-3 on Monday at Jay County High School. Jay County Junior Varsity Patriots were the first to get on the board in the first when Parker Moore grounded out, scoring one run. Eastbrook made the score 3-1 in the top of the second after an error scored one run, and #22 singled, scoring two runs. Jay County Junior Varsity Patriots made the score 5-3 in the bottom of the second after Brady Millspaugh drew a walk, scoring one run, and Brody Collins doubled, scoring three runs. Jay County Junior Varsity Patriots added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning when Rayden Sollars singled, scoring one run, Alex Miller singled, scoring two runs, and Collins was struck by a pitch, driving in a run. Nick Snow earned the win for Jay County Junior Varsity Patriots. The right-handed pitcher allowed two hits and three runs (zero earned) over four innings, striking out eight and walking two. #19 opened the game for Eastbrook. The hurler surrendered three hits and five runs (one earned) over two innings, striking out five and walking four. Zavier Hudson tossed one inning of zero-run ball for Jay County Junior Varsity Patriots in relief. The pitcher gave up one hit, striking out two and walking one. Jay County Junior Varsity Patriots amassed nine hits in the game. Collins drove the middle of the lineup, leading Jay County Junior Varsity Patriots with three runs batted in.
