The Jay County Patriots wrestling team finished 11th at the IHSWCA Team State on Saturday located at Brownsburg High School. Jay County fell to 2A #6 Owen Valley the first round 45-27. The Patriots were then defeated by 2A #12 Gibson Southern 45-29. In the placement round, Jay County defeated Indianapolis Bishop Chatard 71-9 to finish the day at 11th place. Wrestlers going an undefeated 3-0 on the day were Jr. Jason Landers and So. Caleb Sibray. The Varsity Patriots will be in action again on Thursday where they travel to Homestead to dual the Spartans.
