On Monday night the Jay County 7th/8th grade boys teams hosted Richmond. Both teams were able to pull out victories. In the 8th Grade game, Jay County won by a score of 47 - 29. Leading the Patriots was Abram Lee with 22 and Job Dirksen with 15. Also scoring for the Patriots: Bentley Comer - 4 Dillon Dunnington - 3 Finn Hemmelgarn - 3 Jay County's 8th grade is now 3-0. In the 7th Grade game, Jay County won by a score of 41 - 28. Leading the Patriots was Carson Pfeifer with 11 and Sawyer Smitley with 11. Also scoring for the Patriots: Parker Wasson - 6 Carter May - 5 Calvin Jessup - 5 Beckham Hough - 4 Jay County's 7th grade is now 2-1. Jay County's next game will be Monday, December 1st when they travel to Driver Middle School (Winchester).
