Varsity vs Ft. Wayne South Side High The Jay County Lady Patriots dominated Fort Wayne South Side with a commanding 62–16 victory. Freshman Karsyn Schwieterman made an impressive varsity debut, leading all scorers with 17 points while adding 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Hallie Schwieterman contributed 14 points as the Patriots used a 25–0 run spanning the late first and second quarters to put the game out of reach early. Ten different players scored for Jay County, with the freshmen class accounting for 29 of the team’s 62 points. Raylah Newton added 7 points and Liz Brunswick had 6. The Patriots will travel to Hamilton Heights on Saturday for their next game.
